The Future Belongs to . . . the CHS Class of 1969
Welcome to our site.
WOW! who would have guessed where we would be in our lives now. Once we graduated high school we all went our separate ways in life some to college, some to work and still others worked while going to college. Some stayed in Channelview, some went to the big city of Houston, and still others moved further away even out of state. As we look back on life, we have one thing in common, “high school”. Those years were where we learned our basic understanding of life. We learned how to socialize with other people and how to transition from being a child to being a young adult, "this only happens once in life". Whether we wanted to or not four years of high school made us grow. As seniors in high school we had no choice because we knew once we graduated we were going into the deep end of the pool. Time to sink or swim.
We have all changed, not just physically but in the way we view life. We are all realizing that we will not live forever. This is why it is important for us to see each other in our gatherings so we can visit with our “first friends” in life. First friends never go away, even if they pass away, they never go away in our minds. This web site helps us remember those we grew up with in our youth, our "first friends".

CHS ALMA MATER
Loyalty we pledge forever more,
Honor we bear for thee;
Lift up our hearts ever in song,
Send forth our praises to thee.
Hail Alma Mater,
Our symbol of knowledge;
The banners of Blue and Gold
Lead us to victory.
Memories of friends cherished and true
Our hearts will always hold,
And faithful we'll ever be
Eternally to thee.
Loyalty we pledge forever more,
Honor we bear for thee;
Lift up our hearts ever in song,
Send forth our praises to thee.
Hail Alma Mater,
Our symbol of knowledge;
The banners of Blue and Gold
Lead us to victory.
Memories of friends cherished and true
Our hearts will always hold,
And faithful we'll ever be
Eternally to thee.
